Value for Value
Everything here is free. No paywalls, no ads, no algorithms deciding what you see. If this work has been worth something to you, I’d love for you to send some value back.
The Value for Value model was pioneered by Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak on their podcast No Agenda — one of the longest-running, most listener-supported independent shows in existence. The idea is elegantly simple: you decide what the content is worth to you, and you give accordingly. No subscriptions. No guilt. No middle man taking a cut.

Why this model
Advertising creates a conflict of interest. Paywalls exclude people who can’t pay. The Value for Value model trusts you — the reader — to make the call. Some will give a lot, some a little, most nothing at all, and that’s genuinely fine. The people who do give make it possible for everyone else to read for free.
This is a relationship built on trust, not a transaction built on obligation.
